Semiconductor UK 2023

1 2 – 13 July 2023 | Sheffield Hallam University, UK

We are excited to be taking park in the UK Semiconductors Conference, taking place at Sheffield Hallam University on 12-13th July.

Sivers will be talking at the Future Photonics Hub Industry Day that takes place during the conference on 12th July. The EPSRC funded Future Photonics Hub helps industry access the latest photonics innovation. Through the Hub’s engagement with a large network of external companies, it aims to provide businesses access to leading researchers who spend time understanding the challenges they face and where next-generation photonics can have impact on their organisation.

The Industry Day will showcase these collaborations and explore how to develop further interactions. At the event Sivers Photonics will talk about our fit within the UK semiconductor industry, aswell as the impact that our photonic devices are having in the real world.

Dr Thomas Slight, Device Engineer, Sivers Photonics, will present ‘Laser Sources for Quantum Technologies’ at 14.50, Wednesday 12 July, in the Peak Lecture Theatre. His talk will explain how the unique features and advantages of Sivers’ devices and technology make them particularly well-suited for quantum technology applications, with the potential to transform quantum sensors from laboratory instruments to commercial products that will significantly impact our daily lives.
