Sivers Semiconductors AB today announced that Pelle Wijk will be appointed managing director of Sivers Wireless in Sweden.
Pelle Wijk most recently comes from Imagination Technologies, former Kisel Microelectronics, where he was CEO before Kisel was acquired by Imagination in 2014. Pelle Wijk has more than 15 years of experience in leadership and chip development. Pelle Wijk began his career at Ericsson where he was employed for eight years.
“Sivers Semiconductors is entering the next phase and I can now focus even more on leading the group. Our near-term focus is the move to Nasdaq’s main list. It is therefore very gratifying that we have succeeded in hiring a very competent and experienced leader in silicon and chip development for Sivers Wireless.”, said Anders Storm, Group CEO of Sivers Semiconductors.
