During the conference, Sivers Photonics Stuart Smyth will present during the workshop, “Demonstration of a 200Ghz grid spacing 16 channel CW-WDM-MSA compliant DFB laser array with output power above 70mW“. This work discusses the successful demonstration of a 200GHz grid spacing 16-channel distributed feedback (DFB) laser array, compliant with the Continuous-Wave Wavelength Division Multiplexing Multi-Source Agreement (CW-WDM MSA), capable of optical output powers exceeding 70mW per channel. These arrays enable high-speed, high-bandwidth optical interconnects for use in artificial Intelligence (AI) and High-Performance Computing (HPC).
