Single mode, edge-emitting DFB laser diode chip, designed for high speed transceiver modules with external modulation.
Available as standard at 70mW optical power, CW operation, with customisation to higher powers and chipsets.
The laser design is a ridge waveguide (RWG) grown on n-type substrate with multi-quantum well (MQW) active layers and distributed-feedback (DFB) ebeam lithography grating layer.
The facets are coated with an anti-reflectivity layer on the front facet and a high reflectivity coating on the rear facet.
This product is available to be purchased in high volume as a singulated die in Gel Pak or tape.
