Sivers Photonics is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Johnston as VP Operations, based at the Photonics headquarters in Glasgow, Scotland. Paul will focus on increasing operational capability and capacity for Sivers Photonics’ expanding worldwide customer base.

Paul has extensive operational and technical leadership experience, with over 15 years in semiconductors, photonics and opto-electronics industries, ranging from university spin-outs to established multi-national organisations such as NEC Semiconductors and Coherent Inc. Prior to joining Sivers Paul was Manufacturing Director at Raytheon Systems Limited, with responsibility for multiple UK and Canadian manufacturing teams.
Paul commented, “When I spoke to the senior team I was instantly bought in to the vision they have for Sivers Semiconductors to become a leader in the optical communications, sensing and wireless markets.
