Role

We are looking for layout engineers with strong experience in custom IC layout for RF and mmWave circuits, who can work closely with design teams and contribute to high-performance chip development from block layout through full-chip integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality custom layouts for RF and mm-Wave IC blocks.
• Work closely with RFIC designers to optimize layout for performance, matching, parasitics, isolation, and manufacturability.
• Perform and support layout verification, including DRC, LVS, antenna checks, density checks, and parasitic extraction.
• Contribute to block-level and top-cell/full-chip layout integration.
• Help drive layout closure across complex RF/mm-Wave designs.

Qualifications & Experience

Required qualifications

• At least 3 years of IC layout experience.
• Hands-on experience with RF or mmWave custom layout.
• Strong familiarity with Cadence layout tools, Calibre verification tools for DRC/LVS/PEX flows.
• Strong understanding of matching, shielding, grounding, signal isolation, and parasitic-aware layout.
• Ability to work effectively with geographically distributed design teams.

Preferred

• Familiarity with advanced SOI CMOS technologies.
• Experience with top-cell integration.
• Demonstrated ability to help drive full-chip layout closure.
• Experience supporting RF/mm-Wave tapeouts from layout planning through final verification.
