OFC 2022

6 – 10 march, 2022 | San Diego, USA

We are excited to be back at the 2022 Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exhibition (OFC), presenting and exhibiting during the conference taking place in San Diego from 6 – 10 March 2022.

The team look forward to meeting with you at OFC again. You can find us in the exhibition area from 8 – 10 March, booth #5728 where we look forward to talking to you about our advanced capabilities in design and manufacturing of active III-V photonic devices.

Our CTO Andy McKee will also be taking part in a presentation and panel discussion ‘Progress and Roadmap in Silicon Photonics Foundries and Supply Chains’, taking place on 9 March at 8 AM PST 2022, where we will be discussing  the latest progress on light sources for silicon photonics applications. Also on the panel will be Joris Van Campenhout from our partner IMEC, Belgium; Omer Khayam, Google LLC, USA and Di Liang, Hewlett Packard Labs, UCSB, USA

During the panel we will discuss the vital role that commercial foundry services play in the ecosystem, particularly to realize the scale and low-cost promise of silicon photonics (SiPho) for next-gen applications in datacom/telecom (800G and beyond, 5G, CPO), optical compute, optical sensing (LiDAR, spectroscopy), and more.

We will discuss specifically our InP100 Platform. A common design and manufacturing framework for InP photonics devices that uses established process modules to produce a broad range of device types on 100mm wafers. This approach reduces cycle times for the development of customised device designs, has proven reliability, and is scalable to high volume manufacturing. The InP100 platform enables integration of customised InP chips with Si Photonics chips (e.g. via flip chip bonding).

We look forward to seeing you in San Diego.
